A pre-wedding photography shoot is a great way for us to get to know each other so you can be sure you’ve picked the right photographer to document the biggest day of your lives. Building your confidence in front of the camera, we’ll take a mixture of fun, romantic and relaxed shots to show off your personality as a couple. I’ll give you some tips for looking your best and get a feeling for those little details that will allow me to take more personal shots on your big day. We’ll also take the time to have a chat. This is a great opportunity for you to tell me more about every aspect of your wedding day, the details that are important to you and the people you’d like involved in key shots. We can explore different compositions and creative ideas and you can let me know what works for you and what doesn’t. I hope that spending this time together will help you feel at your most relaxed and ready to shine for the camera when your wedding day arrives.
Where will the pre-wedding photo shoot take place?
Pre-wedding photography shoots work best at a location that is important to you. Somewhere that means something to you both where you’ll feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. Outdoor locations such as beaches or countryside often work well or, where possible, shoots at the actual wedding or reception venue can provide an opportunity to get used to the surroundings.
How long does a pre-wedding photography shoot last?
A pre-wedding photography shoot normally lasts around an hour, plus any travelling to a location if required.
What will we get in the way of images from the pre-wedding shoot?
You’ll end up with a number of images and prints that are yours to treasure. These will give you a good idea of my photography style and the work I produce.
You’ll also have the option of using your choice of prints to create wonderful personalised wedding invitations and guest signing book. Please let me know if you are interested in this option and we can discuss designs and printing options.
